We have heard many clichés about “Consumption Culture”, “Environment”, “Consuming Society”, “Renewable Energy”, “Capitalism & Consumption”, … There is a good video presentation by Annie Leopard which simply and without hypes gives us a very clear picture of the high price that the whole world is paying for the consequences of consumption-centered societies.

This presentation discusses the problems that traditionally developed countries and especially United States have been causing, however the other developing countries such as China have also started to contribute to it considerably. We strongly suggest you to watch this 20-minute video presentation at:

Two Wolves (the battle inside us(

 Author: Unkown

One evening an old Cherokee tells his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people.

He said
“My son, the battle is between two wolves inside us all.”

“One is Evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.”

“The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith.”

The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather,
Which wolf wins?

The old Cherokee simply replied,
The one you feed.
